What is a Home Inspection?
A home inspection is a limited visual survey and basic performance evaluation of the systems and components of a building using normal controls that provides information regarding the general condition of a residence at the time of inspection. The inspection covers various aspects of the property, including the foundation, roof, plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC.
The goal of a home inspection is to identify any potential issues or defects that may affect the property's value or safety. The inspection report allows the buyer to make an informed decision about their purchase and potentially negotiate any repairs or pricing with the seller. For a seller, the inspection may be useful in making repairs prior to listing to ensure your listing is competitive.
